One Point Medical – AGPAL Small General Practice Of Year Award Finalist

Congratulations to One Point Medical on being announced as a finalist in the AGPAL Small General Practice of the Year Award!

In April 2018, Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) announced the finalists of the AGPAL and QIP Excellence Awards. One Point Medical was announced as one of the finalists in the AGPAL Small General Practice of the Year Award category.

Across Australia there are many small general practices, operating with only one to two doctors, making a daily commitment to providing high quality health care. The AGPAL Group of Companies acknowledges, appreciates and is committed to recognising the dedication and continuing effort of these practice teams make towards quality improvement.

Dr Stephen Clark, Group Chief Executive of the AGPAL Group of Companies, said that AGPAL had
received a number of outstanding nominations from AGPAL accredited general practices.

“The AGPAL and QIP Excellence Awards recognise and reward the commitment that general
practices make to quality improvement within a health care setting. The nominations process has allowed me the privilege to gain a unique insight into the inspiring achievements taking place within the health care environment” he said.

To be selected as a finalist, One Point Medical had to submit a nomination form self-assessing
against key criteria. The judging process was vigorous with a large number of nominations received.

The Excellence and Highly Commended recipients of the AGPAL Small General Practice of the Year
Award will be announced at the AGPAL and QIP 2018 Conference in Melbourne. The AGPAL and QIP
Excellence Awards will be presented at the Conference Gala Dinner at on Friday 18 May 2018.

2018 marks a milestone for both AGPAL and the general practice sector as a whole, as we come
together to celebrate 21 years of AGPAL accreditation.
